I'm having a bad week... First, I lose my keys. Then, I leave my flash drive at school and can't retrieve it until Monday. And lastly, today I put up my first art submission on someone's board, and what happens? I get accused of stealing it solely on the basis that my copywrite logo at the bottom had a white background and looked "ugly". Apparently, it's illegal for me to scan a picture into the computer, make a copywrite logo with Paint, and paste it onto the picture. I'm sure no one does that ever. Yeah... so far I've seen a whole lot of hostility from about 95% of the people on this website and it's turning me off a bit. So... yeah... I'm not in a great mood right now.

Read that thread, hints around that, make your own signature that clearly is your own and familiarize NG with that, such as Dookiemaister. This will help while you are still low post count. Do not take this hostility personally. Be aware that a big portion of the people on NG are prepubescent teenagers with a short tempers. But another portion of us are more mature and actually offer something to the site. A lot of people with low post counts and good work are actually proven fakes, so there is reason for hostility. Welcome to the art forum though. Hope you arn't scared off by the users. Could use a bit more GOOD talent on the board.

Yeah, you're right. If I wasn't already in a bad mood I might not have gotten as irritated as I did. I can kinda see where they were coming from, but if they have no basis for the accusation other than a white box around the copywrite, I don't see why they have to say I stole it. I take pride in my art and I respect other artists and it hurts my feelings that people would think I'd steal something. I have met some nice people, though. Thanks, Tianaman.
true story.....the art forum is full of paranoid "artist" that dont think talent can come onto ngs
your pic.....though it was acused.....it does seem odd to put 2 different names on it....you could put your Alias and your real name on it with a pencil
